Cambodia-witch-doctor-village.jpg
On an excursion in a very remote part of Northeast Cambodia, I was brought to a local village where I met this man. He had a charming way about him and seemed genuinely happy to meet foreigners. I was told by my guide that he was the local witch doctor. Initially, I was a little disappointed by this because I always pictured witch doctors to have boiled monkeys, shrunken heads, eye of newt, and snakes all around. Later, the guide told me that the life expectancy in that particular village was only 27... I was now quite impressed with the witch doctor.
